PREAMBLE

We, the members of the Home & Business Landowners (B’dos) Association, establish this Association for the protection, preservation and advancement of the lawful rights and interests of homeowners, landowners, business property owners and their families.

We acknowledge Almighty God as Creator and Sovereign and affirm that the Word of God is Truth.

We recognize the Law of God, expressed in the Holy Scriptures and particularly in the Torah, as the foundational moral and ethical standard by which this Association shall seek to conduct its affairs.

We affirm the words of Psalm 19:7 in the King James Version:

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”

We believe that law and government should serve justice and that the mere existence of legislation does not prevent citizens from questioning its fairness, constitutionality, administration, effect or compatibility with fundamental rights.

We reject violence, lawlessness and disorder as methods of achieving the purposes of this Association.

Where the Association believes that a law, tax, regulation, administrative decision or governmental policy unjustly interferes with the rights or legitimate interests of landowners, the Association reserves the right to question, oppose and challenge that measure through lawful and peaceful means, including public advocacy, petitions, objections, appeals, negotiations and proceedings before the courts and tribunals of the land.

We therefore establish this Constitution and its By-Laws upon the principles of truth, justice, righteousness, transparency, accountability, stewardship and the peaceful pursuit of justice.
