PURPOSE OF ASSOCIATION
The Association is a non-profit organization established to unite landowners and property owners under one collective body. Its purpose is to provide a strong, independent voice that represents the interests of its members while promoting responsible property ownership and sustainable development.
The Association seeks to:
* Advocate for the rights and interests of land and property owners.
* Engage with government agencies, statutory bodies, and other stakeholders on legislation, policies, taxes, fees, and regulations affecting property ownership.
* Lobby for fair and equitable taxation and other measures that impact landowners and property owners.
* Provide a platform for members to share knowledge, experiences, best practices, and solutions to common challenges.
* Promote education and awareness on matters relating to property ownership, property management, legal obligations, and regulatory compliance.
* Encourage collaboration among members to strengthen their collective influence and bargaining power.
* Foster the preservation, enhancement, and responsible development of communities throughout Barbados.
* Establish partnerships with professional organizations, businesses, and service providers for the benefit of members.
* Promote ethical standards, transparency, and good governance in matters affecting land and property ownership.
* Undertake any lawful activities that advance the interests and welfare of the Association and its members.
The Association shall operate exclusively as a non-profit organization, with all income and assets applied solely toward achieving its objectives and promoting the collective interests of its members.

The Home & Business Landowners (B’dos) Association is an organization established to give landowners a collective voice in matters affecting the ownership, use, protection, and preservation of land in Barbados.
We believe that owning land comes with legitimate rights and responsibilities, and that landowners deserve to be treated fairly, transparently, and with respect.
Our Association seeks to represent, educate, and advocate for landowners by bringing greater awareness to laws, policies, taxes, regulations, and government decisions that may affect private property and land ownership.
We believe that informed landowners are empowered landowners. By coming together, sharing knowledge, and engaging constructively with government and other stakeholders, we can help ensure that the interests and rights of landowners are properly heard and considered.
